PC Drive Kit for Philips 8235/8245

The Philips VG-8235 is a great MSX2 computer, but it came with a 360K single-sided floppy drive.
Thanks to this connection kit you will be able to install a 720K floppy disk drive from the PC world in your MSX computer.

This kit can also be used to change the floppy drive of an Philips NMS8245

This PCB is supplied with 3 additional wires for mounting.
A PC floppy disk drive is not included with this kit.
We do not assume any damage you may do to your MSX by installing this kit.
You must have some notions of welding and the ability to make some soldering points to mount this kit.

Note : you need a pc drive that can handle the MSX drive signals like disk ready and you have to set the drive to ds0. Then, with the pcb (with the 2 jumpers closed) you can connect the drive to the internal drive cable.
